The Cubby House Long Day Child Care
8am to 5.30pm

EVERY DAY (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)

Children from birth to 5 years of age are cared for by qualified caring professionals.

The Nic Nak Shed

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 9am to 3pm

TUESDAY & FRIDAY 9AM TO 1PM

Pre-loved good quality clothes, footwear, household utensils, furniture and more.

Drop in and shop or donate your pre-loved goods.   Free bread on Thursdays

PLAYGROUP for Under 5year olds & under.
EVERY TUESDAY  9.30am to 12noon

The Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre Playgroup meets every Tuesday and offers interesting & different activities each week.
All local and visiting families are welcome so come along and meet other parents and children.  Cost $3
Please bring a hat, drink and snack for you child/children.
Tea/coffee available for adults.
 

ART GROUP

EVERY MONDAY 1pm to 4pm

Keen to paint?  Even if you have never picked up a brush why not come along and join in the group.  Under the guidance of local artist Janet Richardson you may discover the artist in you or, simply enjoy the relaxing feeling of dabbling with paints.

Only $5 per session with all materials supplied.

GAMES AFTERNOON

EVERY WEDNESDAY 1pm to 4pm

Catch up with friends or come along and meet new people at our games afternoon.  Cards, scrabble, chess & other board games are supplied by the Centre as well as
fee coffee and tea facilities.

Emergency Relief Assistance
MONDAY and THURSDAY 10am to 12 noon
Clients will be seen outside these hours at the discretion of the Manager of the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre

Hold a fortnightly (Tuesdays) relationship counselling service for community members (by appointment, please phone 1300 364 277)

Baby Health Clinic
Every Thursday 9am to 12.30pm
(by appointment)
with a qualified Child & Maternal Health Nurse.

AA Meetings
Every Wednesday at 7.30pm

Office of Corrections
Every Wednesday 12noon to 2pm.

A.T.O.D.S.
The Alcohol Tobacco & Other Drugs Team from DSMPHS provide an outreach clinic for anyone affected by alcohol, tobacco or drugs meet Every Thursday 1pm to 3pm (by appointment, please phone 4099 5518)

Sexual Assault Counselling
FPQ Sexual Assault Outreach Service.  A Counsellor is available to see women and children affected by sexual assault every day, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Mobile Women's Health Service
Available all day once a month on Monday

Free Legal Advice
This service is provided by North Qld Women's Legal Service and offered on the last Wednesday of each month by solicitor Lyndel Burke. Advice topics include family law, defacto property, family violence, discrimination and sexual assault.
