The Cubby House Long Day Child Care
8am to 5.30pm

EVERY DAY (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)

Children from birth to 5 years of age are cared for by qualified caring professionals.

The Nic Nak Shed

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 9am to 3pm
FRIDAY 9AM to 1PM
Drop in and shop
for pre-loved good quality clothes, footwear, baby items, hats,
household utensils, furniture, books, bikes and CDs.
To donate your pre-loved items and ensure their security
please drop goods in to the Nic Nak Shed
  between 10am-3pm Monday to Friday.

FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM
TUESDAY PLAYGROUP
for under 5year olds, their parents/carers
10am to 12 noon
The PDNC Playgroup offers interesting & different activities each week.  Your and your children gain friendships, socialisation skills, support & information, shares ideas and experiences and children learn through play.  All local and visiting families are welcome.  Cost $4 per family.  Please bring a hat, drink & snack for your child/children.  Tea/coffee available for adults.
WEDNESDAY PLAYGROUP for 9-24 month age group
9.30 to 11.30am
Appropriate activities for 9 to 24 month age group.  Cost $4 per family.

NEW PARENTS' GROUP  THURSDAY 9.30AM TO 11.30AM
for babies under 6 months
Come along and meet other new parents, make new friends, gain support and information.  This group is supported by a trained community parent volunteer.  Cost by way of $2 donation.

Everyone is welcome to drop in to the Port Douglas Neighbourhood Centre
to collect free bread on Thursdays.

CRAFT GROUP
Everyone welcome to come along to the craft group on Thursdays
1pm to 3pm


WEEKLY ART CLASSES

Every Wednesday at 1pm
From budding beginners through to intermediate all are welcome.

Every Thursday at 7.30pm

The Alcohol Tobacco & Other Drugs Team from DSMPHS provide an outreach clinic for anyone affected by alcohol, tobacco or drugs meet Every Thursday 1pm to 3pm

Free Legal Advice
This service is provided by North Qld Women's Legal Service and offered on the last Wednesday of each month by solicitor Lyndel Burke. Advice topics include family law, defacto property, family violence, discrimination and sexual assault.
